Want to discover some new and fun ways for your family to be more active, improve your health and well-being and spend more time together? The Y’s Family Time is designed to help parents build strong relationships with their kids while learning new skills, developing new interests and connecting to the community.
At the YMCA of Southern Nevada, we offer a variety of family programs for kids, parents and grandparents, too!
Family Night
When: Every Friday from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Where: All locations
Family night at the Y is a special time for families to not only have fun together, but to get to know other Y families looking to do the same. Parents and children participate in game nights, sports and craft activities, pool parties, and seasonal events. Together with field trips and fitness classes, they’re designed to inspire teamwork, excitement and creativity.
Friday Family Nights are always free and open to all, including non-members. You can register in person, online or through our app. Want to know ahead of time what’s on the agenda? Here’s a list of our upcoming programs.
Parents Night Out
When: Every Saturday 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Where: All locations
Our Parents Night Out program is a great opportunity to unwind and give yourself a date night away from parenting duties. Enjoy some quality time together while your kids have a blast at the Y making new friends and learning new skills. Our trained staff provide children with fun games, crafts, movie time, and swimming for those 5 years of age and older.
We offer a lot of other family-focused events, too:
Varied offerings include Togetherhood (a volunteer initiative), youth and family wellness events and a prime-time kids’ gym at all four locations. Our Durango Hills, Centennial Hills and Skyview locations feature a youth engagement center.
Check out our Family Time programs today, and then stop by any one of our four locations to learn more about all our family time programs. You can also contact us online – just drop us a note, and we’ll get right back to you.
