Finding a convenient, dependable daycare program for your child can be challenging. As a guardian or parent, you want what’s best for your child, and some programs may not meet your standards. Also, you’ll want to leave your child in the hands of a reputable organization and responsible caregivers.
Fortunately, the Y Cares Program is here to ease your problems. For years, the YMCA of Southern Nevada has dedicated itself to forming a community and assisting members through educational support, sports and community activities. The Y Cares Program helps members by providing a full daycare program filled with learning and fun activities for your child.
The program is skillfully crafted to help children learn and grow between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. You’re free to drop off your child after 7:00 a.m. and pick them before 6:00 p.m. The kids start their day with interactive activities such as board games, crafts and literacy assignments.
For proper distance learning, all children receive guided assignments and lessons on their laptops and headphones. The kids go through different lessons in STEM, code, literacy, math, and much more. The children also participate in various games during the day and sports, such as rock climbing and swimming. Our PE instructors guide the children through games to ensure that they stay fit and active. Sports and games help children learn social interaction through play.
The program also includes breaks for snacks and lunch, which you pack yourself. This ensures that your child has access to the best meals prepared at home. We ensure that we organize all your child’s belongings, and you can collect them at the end of a productive day.
You’re probably wondering, “How does the Y Cares Program prevent COVID-19 spread?” Fortunately, we’ve developed controls to ensure that the program runs smoothly with proper physical distancing and hygiene.
Caring for your child doesn’t have to happen exclusively at home. You can help your child develop vital cognitive, emotional and physical skills by enrolling them in the Y Cares Program. Contact us online for more information.
