Keeping active and staying in shape is important for everyone regardless of their age, but so is time spent with family. At the YMCA of Southern Nevada, we have a wide variety of family fitness options and amenities for kids, parents and senior citizens.

Family Fitness for Everyone

Working out together as a family is a great bonding experience. Here are just some of our family fitness programs, which are designed to keep you and your loved ones feeling and looking your best.

  • From aqua aerobics to the invigorating LES MILLS classes, we offer exercise classes for both adults and children that can be done together or separately.
  • For seniors, our water fitness classes are extremely popular. The range of classes are designed for maximum efficiency no matter your current fitness level. There’s also the Young at Heart program, tailored to moderately active older adults and includes cardio and strength workouts.
  • Beginner yoga, boogie line dancing, and hot hula fitness are fun activities everyone can do. They’re so much fun that you won’t even feel like you’re working out.

New Programs and Equipment

There’s always something new going on at the Y. We’ve even got in on the virtual craze! Our Fitness on Demand program, called “WELLBEATS”, lets you take a group fitness class whenever it’s convenient for you. Simply use one of the kiosks at our Bill and Lillie Heinrich YMCA or Skyview YMCA locations to select from a diverse group of on-demand classes, and then show up whenever your hectic schedule permits.

At the Y, we want to be your partner in promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering a sense of social responsibility. We work hard to help you and your family – regardless of age, income or background – become the best, fittest and healthiest you can be.

You can join us in our mission! Stop by any one of our four locations to learn more about all our family fitness programs, or contact us online today.
