The YMCA of Southern Nevada is an inclusive community that strives to create an environment where everyone, regardless of age, position, income, or background, can learn, grow and flourish. Since 1944, our organization has been at the forefront, nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living in the community, and helping to cultivate a culture of social responsibility. From toddlers, kids, teenagers, young adults, parents to seniors, everyone is welcome to join us, and we have so much in store for you. Let’s take a look at our Y membership benefits and membership options available.

What’s a Y Membership?

Y membership comes with many attractive perks that allow you to develop yourself, improve your well-being, and help you get a sense of belonging. Y members are a team of families, people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels, who have come together to help boost their quality of life. However, if you aren’t ready to be a full member, there is still a lot in store for you if you register as a Y Program Participant. Joining Y is gaining access to an opportunity that can change different aspects of your life for the better.

Benefits of Joining the Y in Southern Nevada

Here are some benefits of a Y membership that await you:

  • State-of-the-art Fitness Center & Training Classes

As a member, you can take advantage of our fitness amenities and training programs to boost your health and wellness. You can be trained individually, as a small group and as a team. Our gyms have equipment for weight training, cardio, strength training, and much more. We also have indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, pickle ball courts, and even a rock wall.

  • Setting Fitness Goals

We have highly trained and experienced trainers who can assess your current fitness level and help you create and achieve your fitness goals. They use age-appropriate exercise models for kids, adults and seniors. These fitness experts will help you work out a suitable program depending on your genetics, injury history and any other conditions you might have.

  • Kids Exercise Classes & Programs

When you have a Y membership, your children will have access to various programs and activities designed specifically for them, including swimming, summer camps, Hallway games, basketball, and so much more.

  • Social Activities

Older adults can take part in a wide range of activities, including Zumba dancing, martial arts training, off-site field trips, card games, and more. There are also seminars to keep you empowered and engaged.

Some other benefits include financial assistance to help you stay engaged in all Y activities, access to all four Southern Nevada Y facilities, and top-quality childcare as you exercise.
